Tomem lá um quote meu que fiz nos fóruns do steam sobre as primeiras impressões do pessoal até agora.
Quote:
The common agreement is that IWnet blows, the problems start at the users with a restricted NAT that forces them to either play the multiplayer seriously handicapped, or to spend quite a few hours learning the basics of networking and router configuration. DEFINATELLY not for the casual user.
Finding matches is troublesome, it's worse for the users with the NAT screw up but it looks like it's somewhat generalized as well. Waiting times in lobby is reported to go as high as 10 minutes until you get a full party.
Multiplayer IS NOT 9vs9, only Groundwars uses the full player count. Every other game mode is 6vs6 maximum.
The game can get laggy as hell.
Colored bars instead of ping numbers, if you don't know already.
Obvious host advantage and you can see that when everyone has a one red bar ping, and ONE guy has the full 5 green bars. Btw I *believe* 5 green bars = 100ms ping or lower.
There are few options on the private match settings, all I know is that perks or killstreaks aren't trully customizable. You either lock them or unlock them ALL, you can't pick wich ones you want seperately.
There is no spectator mode as far as I gathered. If you need to go afk or something, you'll have to sit there getting killed and beeing a burden on your team.
There is no auto-balance feature, so if a team starts getting ♥♥♥♥♥, people start leaving and you'll be playing a 6vs4-3-2-1 until you're thrown back to the lobby screen.
There is of course, host migration with a 5 second delay until the match is resumed. There are some troubles sometimes and you simply can't migrate host, so you're thrown back to the lobby (again, believe this applies to the NAT strict users).
You CANNOT kick anyone from your game. Cheaters, griefers, teamkillers, afk'ers, general idiots, you'll have to play alongside them forcefully because there's no way to get them out.
Effectively, there isn't any kind of admin presence, ever.
And I've seen rumours that there are already plenty of cheaters running rampant on the multiplayer.
And that's it that I can think of. Much better than dedicated servers indeed. The only positive reviews of IWnet I've seen so for is one liners like "This game rocks!!!!" or "It's VERY FUN!". I'm yet to see ONE that talks about IWnet in a good elaborate way and doesn't look like it was written by an over-hyped 8 year old on a sugar rush.
