Hitboxes, Punkbuster, and more new Battlefield 3 information

Russian Battlefield fansites battlefieldbc.ru and bf3.com.ua had the pleasure of holding a podcast with the Russian Battlefield Community Manager Eugene “Joe” Olenev. In turn, Battlefieldo picked up in this interview and condensed all the facts into an easy-to-read list. Read on, friends:

- Hitboxes are much improved in comparison with BFBC2.
- Recoil is really tricky and needs getting used to.
- The closed betatest for MoH owners will be held but no word on date yet.
- There will be ingame VOIP.
- There are three slots for weapon customization.
- Character customization will be up but no word on details.
- The anticheat system is PunkBuster
- BF3 will be greatly optimized. DICE is willing to optimize it for all platforms and hardware.
- System specs won`t be “fantastic”. They will be reasonable.
- The feeling of BF3 is truly different. It`s not BF2 and not BFBC2.
- BF3 will be highly cybersports-oriented.
- There`s no final decision about commo-rose at DICE.
- There`s closed area at DICE office where people work on unannounced project.
- Battlelog is a web-application for BF3.

To those not quite sure what 'commo-rose' is; remember in older Battlefield game when you could hit 'Q' and you would call out enemies for your team, or request health and ammo? Like this? That's commo-rose. And the Battlefield 3 fans want it lots.

Já vi os vídeos e até me espumei da boca com os tanques. Também gostei do estilo do gajo a guardar a faca. Por o que nos apresentaram até agora, tem tudo para ser um grande jogo, agora vamos ver se não estragam tudo.

mal posso esperar para ver o gameplay dos avioes tenho é de começar a passar fome pa comprar uma maquina para correr isso :\

São 4 classes de 4 players cada: Assault, Engineer, Support e Recon. Os médicos estão incluídos no assault. No more stream for you!

Usam o que parece ser o sistema do 2142, que é muito bom, mas coiso. Também gostava de ver uma limpa distinção entre classes, mas pensando nas pessoas que jogavam Medic só porque a Assault é praticamente o mesmo mas sem o healing/revive, percebo que seja um coi inútil. Pelo menos não se quiseres poder de fogo tens que abdicar de cenas de doutores, e vice-versa. Os squads serem apenas de 4 é que não percebi mas enfim... A cena dos veículos regenerarem um pouco e serem imobilizados deixa-me apreensivo mas é esperar para ver. O que me fode é aquilo da infantaria ter sempre tempo de saltar dele se forem atingidos. Um jipe pode levar com um RPG ou um tiro de tanque que apenas o gajo que levar directamente com ele morre, mas tudo o resto pode saltar pra fora como se nada fosse. Puta que pariu isso.

Fonte Imagens do BattleLog Fonte ---------------------------------- BREAKING: Battlefield 3 alpha screenshots leaked EA and DICE are currently running alpha/beta testing on the new Battlelog service, where a number of third party testers have been given access to the alpha version of Battlefiled 3 in order to test Battlelog. One of the testers sent us these screenshots of Battlefield 3, which is in alpha mode. The map is the same as we’ve seen at E3: Operation Metro. While the screenshots don’t reveal anything we haven’t seen yet, we do, for the first time, get a good glimpse of the Battlefield 3 HUD.
